GST return filing (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B)
We prepare and file your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B every month or quarter from your sales and purchase data. Before each GSTR-3B we match your purchase records with GSTR-2B and the Invoice Management System, so you claim the credit you're entitled to and no more. You see the tax working before anything is filed.

How it works
- 1
Share your data
You send the period's sales, purchases and notes by a date we agree, or give us access to your accounting software.
- 2
Reconcile input tax credit
We take action on supplier invoices in the IMS, match your purchase register with GSTR-2B and list invoices your suppliers haven't uploaded.
- 3
Prepare GSTR-1
We report your sales invoice-wise for business customers and in summary for consumers, with credit notes, the HSN summary and documents issued.
- 4
Tax working and payment
We work out the tax after setting off your credit and send you the working and the challan. You pay from your bank account.
- 5
File GSTR-3B
Once the tax is paid, we file GSTR-3B and send you the acknowledgements for both returns.
GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and the QRMP scheme
GSTR-1 reports your sales, invoice by invoice for business customers and in summary for consumers. Your buyers' input tax credit comes from it. GSTR-3B is the summary return through which you pay the tax, after setting off your credit. Monthly filers file GSTR-1 by the 11th and GSTR-3B by the 20th of the following month.
Businesses with aggregate turnover up to ₹5 crore can opt for QRMP: returns every quarter, with tax paid monthly through a challan. Under QRMP you can upload B2B invoices through the Invoice Furnishing Facility (IFF) in the first two months, so your buyers don't wait for their credit. Since mid-2025 the tax liability that flows into GSTR-3B from GSTR-1 can't be edited in GSTR-3B; mistakes are corrected through GSTR-1A or a later GSTR-1.
Input tax credit, GSTR-2B and the IMS
You can claim credit only for invoices that appear in your GSTR-2B, the monthly statement built from your suppliers' returns. Through the Invoice Management System (IMS) you accept, reject or keep pending each supplier invoice before filing GSTR-3B, and GSTR-2B reflects those choices. We match all of it against your purchase register and tell you which suppliers haven't uploaded their invoices.
Credit has to be reversed if you don't pay a supplier within 180 days of the invoice, and can be taken again once you pay. Credit for a financial year must be claimed by 30 November of the following year, or by the date you file the annual return, if earlier. After that it's lost.
Late fees, interest and other consequences
A late GSTR-1 or GSTR-3B attracts a late fee for each day of delay, up to a cap that depends on turnover and is lower for nil returns. Tax paid late carries interest from the due date until payment.
Long gaps cost more. You can't generate e-way bills while GSTR-3B is pending for two or more periods in a row, your buyers lose credit while your GSTR-1 is late, and the officer can cancel the registration. The portal also doesn't accept a return more than three years after its due date.
Frequently asked questions
I had no sales this month. Do I still file?
Yes. Every regular taxpayer files GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B for every period, even as nil returns, and a late nil return still attracts a late fee. Our packages include nil returns.
Should I file monthly or under QRMP?
If your turnover is up to ₹5 crore and most of your customers are consumers, QRMP saves work. If your business customers want their credit every month, monthly filing, or QRMP with IFF, suits them better. We suggest one when we start.
My supplier hasn't uploaded an invoice. Can I still claim the credit?
Not yet. Credit can be claimed only once the invoice appears in your GSTR-2B. We give you a list of missing invoices to follow up, and you claim the credit in the period it appears, up to the yearly cut-off.
What happens if I miss a due date?
You pay a late fee for each day of delay and interest on any tax paid late, and your buyers can't take their credit until your GSTR-1 is filed. Tell us as soon as you can; we file with the late fee and interest worked out.
Can you file my pending returns from earlier months?
Yes. We file them in order of period, with the late fee and interest worked out, and quote based on how many periods are pending. Returns more than three years past their due date can no longer be filed.
I'm under the composition scheme. Is this service for me?
This service is for regular taxpayers. Composition taxpayers file CMP-08 every quarter and GSTR-4 once a year. Ask us and we'll quote for those.
Do you need my GST portal login?
Yes, we need access to prepare and file the returns. They are verified by the authorised signatory with an OTP or, for companies, a DSC. Nothing is filed until you've seen the working.
